Prof. Dr. Anita Pavković, is a distinguished interdisciplinary finance professional, scholar and executive specialized in banking, financial services and financial services industry providers’ supervision. She studied economics, the filed of finance, in Croatia and achieved other executive education programs abroad. Prof. Pavković and has roughly twenty-five years of experience in financial services regulatory, audit, advisory and management positions in the financial services industry, having worked in commercial bank supervisory board, central bank auditing committee, clearing infrastructure authority supervisory body, etc.

From 2014 to 2018, Prof. Pavković occupied the position of vice-dean for Business Processes and Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Business, and from 2022 to 2024 she served as the Chair of the Department of Finance.

She has also obtained professional certificates in banking, finance, innovation, securitization, supervision, and related fields and participated in professional ‘training-the-trainers’ programs.

She is Professor in tenure of Bank Management, Regulation and Supervision of Financial Sector and Financial Institutions and Markets at Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Zagreb, Croatia. She is also program director od postgraduate program „Financial institutions and markets” as well the Program Coordinator for professional education program „The future of governance”. Also, she is participating as a lecturer in other courses on postgraduate and doctoral levels at Universities in Croatia and visiting professor abroad (Spain, Chechia). She has been a visiting professor at numerous prestigious institutions in the different countries, universities and events.

Prof. Dr. Pavković is a prolific author of more than 100 publications and serves as Editor-in-Chief of one scientific journal, several book chapters. In 2024 she has edited the book titled „Bank management_ trends and challenges”. From 2020 Prof. Dr. Pavković coordinated and lead the high professional program Bank Academy.

Prof. Dr. Pavković’s primary research interests are in the areas of commercial banking, risk management, NPLs, securitization and structured finance, banking regulation and supervision, financial services and financial markets, innovations in finance, etc.

Moreover, the multidisciplinary approach and interconnectedness of the economics and law are also included in his research activities.
